Yes, I am still watching Jake and Amir. I considered stopping for a while. It would have been a case of unsuscribing but I didn’t. It’s like one of those TV shows that you watch because you used to enjoy it. Anyway, another cool t-shirt to add to the Jake and Amir series at Busted Tees.

Yes we cannabis but not on your t-shirt

More t-shirt trouble. A guy gets banned from the mall for wearing a cannabis/Obama/Shepard Fairey parody tee and a fairly good one too. How ridiculous!

It seems the guy was told to either take off his tee or wear it inside out and he refused and made a scene and that’s what the ban is about but from what I can see they had no right to ask him to change it so said scene was probably deserved. My brother was asked to change his Che Guevara tee when he was in Las Vegas and he complied but it was because he was a guest in that country.

 

Tyra Banks Not a Penis T-Shirt

It’s not a penis or a vibrator. Apparently it’s about Beauty Inside and Out. I think she needs to fire her logo designer.

Kardashian’s Bieber Fever

It seems that reality TV star, Kim Kardashian is jumping on the Justin Bieber bandwagon. If you don’t know who Justin Bieber is as this stage you crawl out from under that rock. Justin and Kim met somewhere and Justin tweeted a photo of them together. After that Kim claimed to get some death threats from Justin’s tweeny fans. It’s a bit of marketing genius on Kardashian’s side. I’m impressed. It is much better than making a porno and selling it. On the other hand, perhaps if she hadn’t made the porno she would never had the photo op with the Biebs.

I know what you are thinking right, Rude Retro’s blog is a t-shirt blog not a celebrity gossip blog. OK, confession time. I like celeb gossip. I don’t know why but perhaps it is some innate longing to be a celeb myself. Don’t worry though, there is a t-shirt store in here and that is after receiving the death threats the very brave (and attractive) Kim Kardashian decided to have this t-shirt made that says Mrs. Beiber. (Yes. Beiber, not Bieber.) She’s just a fun gal after all.

Email notifier t-shirt

This is pretty old news for some of you and even I heard of it about a month and a half ago when it was posted on Engadget. This is a one-of-a-kind custom made t-shirt that has lights to notify you of new emails. The concept is cool but redundant at the same time. I even like the design of the tee. Anyway check out the video to see it in action.

Video: Recycle your t-shirts

This is a cool way to recycle your t-shirt and really quick if you have a sewing machine. Great for Ireland where they charge for plastic bags at the store. Why do I mention Ireland? Well, two reasons. One is that I am Irish and the second is that I am going back to Ireland this summer for a holiday. I am looking forward to that and have quite a bit of planning to do.

I guess it as only  a matter of time before someone joined these two internet memes/sensations together. I mean: chatroulette –> catroulette –> cat –> ceiling cat. It’s such an obvious connection it’s a wonder it took this long for someone to put it on a t-shirt. Well, JiNX did and it’s yours for just $17.99 to $19.99.

Jesus told me to make tie dye t-shirts

Well, if the imagery for Jesus is right you probably could describe him as a hippie so maybe tie dye is the way he rolls. If you haven’t heard already I’ll tell you now. There is this dude who makes and sells tie dye tees who, on Easter Sunday unfolded his recently produced tie dye t-shirt to find the image of Christ looking back at him. He’ s taking it as a sign to be more positive and continue making more shirts. Who would have known that Jesus was a viral marketing genius? He also said that all the hair on his body stood up when he first saw it. Static? Check out the video below.
