Rude Retro’s Tweet Cloud

I came across this cool little time waster today. You can check out various statistics related to your tweeting but the tweet cloud is the most interesting I think. As you can see I tweet about tees alot and Threadless aren’t you lucky.Click on the image for a closer look or head over to TweetStats to check it out there.

You can see by the following graph that my tweets have been increasing steadily (July was an anomaly) so that means I am getting quite a bit of t-shirt info out there so be sure to follow me on Twitter (@RudeRetro) so as not to miss out.

Twitter on Threadless

This is not the first t-shirt store to try take advantage of the twitter phenomenon but the fact that it involves Threadless makes it worth a mention. From what I see you can attach your twitter account to Threadless and your tweets can then be submitted for the chance of being printed on a t-shirt. I think it’s not all that different from the Type Tees section of Threadless. Twitter users whose Tweets are selected for printing will receive $500 ($360 in cash and a $140 Threadless gift certificate). In addition, the first nominator of a printed Tweet will receive $140 ($100 cash and a $40 Threadless gift certificate). Why 140? Think about it.

I have a feeling that not many of my tweets informing people about sales and other t-shirt events will get nominated but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t follow me @RudeRetro.
