1. Bukowski at T-Post – OK, so this tee is no longer for sale but I think it is the perfect start to a list of alternative Mickey Mouse T-Shirts.

Save the Trees, Use Both Sides T-Shirt

Funny environmental issue t-shirt that might make you think again before you casually dispose of you toilet paper after only having used one side. If you were really concerned about the environment you would use both sides of the paper….I mean REALLY concerned.

Ript Fusion

Forget exercise and a healthy diet. All you need is a t-shirt that helps you hide the spare tire around your belly. Well, that’s the premise behind this t-shirt called RipT. Get it? Ripped? RipT! To be honest I could use something like this at the moment as 10 years of inertia has played havoc with my waistline but I think I will try solve that the old-fashioned way. Buying the next size up. Just kidding. Kind of. Recently had to do that but I have been exercising and I hope that will work out for me.

Even if you aren’t interested in getting this tee be sure to check out the web site as they have instructions on how to put on and take off t-shirts. Finally someone has let slip this highly prized piece of knowledge.

Last Chance to go to Hell

As previously mentioned, T-Shirt Hell will be closing its doors permanently on February 10th 2009. So you don’t have very much time left if you want to get your hands some of their tees. Yes, they have a lot of t-shirts that are offensive to a lot of people but there are also a lot of just plain funny t-shirts. Below are some of the offensive tees that were brought back as a thumb on their noses to T-Shirt Hell’s detractors. There is also a 10% discount at the moment.

Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt

I often thought that it would be nice to have a soundtrack. I guess the idea sprang from watching too many movies and getting my first Walkman. A Walkman (ipod for cassettes for those who are too young to remember) is like a soundtrack except only you can hear it. Also it isn’t that easy to change the tracks. I wanted something more. Music that followed me and reflected my mood at every turn. Like in some Hollywood movies. Well, ThinkGeek have come up with something that is not really close to that dream but it is a bit of fun. They have produced a soundtrack shirt that is basically a t-shirt with a speaker that can play music from its own player or other devices if you connnect them.

I think the tee is stylish enough even though I don’t think I’d wear a speaker on my chest. It is quite a fun idea though and I know its a bit late but it would make a great gift at this time of the year. Below is a video that I guess the guys at ThinkGeek put together to promote the t-shirt.

ThinkGeek do come up with some interesting t-shirts such as a chain mail t-shirt and an Electronic Drum Kit t-shirt. The T-Shirt Review also recently talked about a musical shirt tutorial. I wonder what’s next!

They cost $39.99 (batteries not included).

Two Great New Tees from T-Shirt Hell

To be honest, I have been less than impressed with the new offerings from T-Shirt Hell recently but of course it is all a matter of taste, but today they have released two great new shirts. One of them makes you feel sorry for Richard Gere as the gerbil rumor has resurfaced in the form of a t-shirt and a whole new generation of teens will learn about his alleged misdeeds.

The second is a spoof of both the Flintstones and hard rock band Queens of the Stone Age. No further explanation is needed.

T-Shirt Hell and Torsopants New Shirts

Two new shirts from T-Shirt Hell and T-Shirt Hell sister site, Torsopants. The Torsopants shirt is the Excellent parody on David Lee Roth. Who? Member of Van Halen. What? Ask your dad. (See video below).

The next t-shirt is from T-shirt Hell and I think this is probably the most useful shirt that they have ever produced. If you have ever been to a night club that is so loud that you can’t hear, then this is the shirt for you. It’s like a point and speak phrase book for clubbers.

Are you a Mother Flocker?

Flock it! Image from NinemsnI recently came across a very cool feature over at ninemsn.com called the Flock. The minute I saw it I thought “I want one of those for this site.”, but alas it is not to be. Not yet anyway. It seems to be proprietary software but hopefully some smart people will com up with a similar plug-in for Wordpress (the software that this blog runs on). Will they be able to match the humor side of it though? What is the humor side of it? Just replace the word Flock with a similar sounding four letter word and you will see. Puerile, I know.

Anyway, over at ninemsn at the bottom of articles you are given the option to Flock it! It is a type of recommendation, like Digg but this seems to be for internal use only. I have included an image below where you can see some of the uses of the word Flock. You can’t tell me that it is unintentional.

  1. The Flock. What is this? [What the Flock is this?]
  2. You are now a Mother Flocker
  3. Would you like to become a Mother Flocker?
  4. Make me a Mother Flocker.
  5. This article has been Flocked 10 times.

Images of the Flock in Action

While I wouldn’t say it was Flocking funny, it is quite amusing and I image that whoever suggested these phrases was just Flocking around and probably never meant for them to be used. I also imagine that when some boss figures out the double entendres they may be flocked.

No t-shirt’s this time. Sorry.
