Get Lucky at Zazzle
Zazzle have a cool little discount generator for Saint Patrick’s Day. I love this type of fun game. Of course I don’t think Zazzle will lose any money by giving discounts and of course I will receive a smaller commission when I make sales but I think this type of thing is fun for customers and attracts them to the store and maybe makes them remember to come back again. All you have to do is submit your email and they will send you a coupon ranging from 10% to 50%. Here is the fine print:
Percentage discounts will range from 5% to 50%, with the average discount approximately 10%. Discount applies to order subtotal (excluding shipping and taxes). Offer is valid from March 13, 2009 through March 20, 2009 at 11:59pm PST. Your order must be placed during that time to qualify for this special pricing offer. This promotional offer may not be combined with any other Zazzle promotional or discount offers.
I got a 15% off coupon. 50% would have been nice.
Above are some Paddy’s Day t-shirts by Rude Retro himself (Irish and proud), all of which are available in a wide range of t-shirts at his Zazzle store, Rude Retro’s T-Shirt Shack. The 3rd one with the shamrock has custom text. It says New York 2009 but you can change that text to whatever you would like. In fact you can add or subtract the design and the text. And yes, I am promoting my own t-shirts. There’s no law against it. And it’s not the first time but I have disclosed the fact each time I believe. And while we are on the subject of disclosure I ought to tell you that the three designs on the right were all designed by my wonderful and multi-talented wife.
T-Shirt Hell Sale
For those of you who don’t know about T-Shirt Hell yet, they are purveyors of bad taste. The t-shirts may be in bad taste but at least they are done in style and without apology. While some of their t-shirts might make you laugh out loud, others will certainly make you wince. The artwork is often quite good although sometimes it is a simple text tee with a phrase designed to provoke shock or laughter which probably results in quite a bit of nervous laughter. Just in case their sale banner above wasn’t enough to convey the tone of their site I have posted a few of their t-shirt designs below too.
I don’t know how long the sale will last but I guess until the end of November as their email says “30% Off For Epileptics Only National Epilepsy Month Sale!”. No coupons are needed. When you get to checkout, before you pay of course, it should show the discount.
Subtotal: $19.00
Discount: $5.70
Subtotal: $13.30
*edit: The sale ends Nov. 9th at midnight EST.
DBH Celebration Sale
Design by Humans are having a celebration sale. I don’t know what they are celebrating and I don’t know why they are inviting Tee Fury to the party either. I am guessing there is a link between Tee Fury and Design by Humans as I am pretty sure that this is not the first time Tee Fury was mentioned on Design by Humans. Anyway DBH are selling their tees, at least some of them, for as little as $15. Tee Fury are still charging $9 as far as I know. If you are into Halloween below is a sweet tee from DBH that can be worn all through the year as well. This sale ends on Sunday so don’t delay.
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I had some bandwidth issues and have moved this site to another host, I don’t think I will have that problem here. These have been two quick posts but I do have more juicy stuff coming soon so stay tuned.
Wooshka Sale
Australian online t-shirt competition site Wooshka are having a massive sale with 40-70% off t-shirts. The sale ends September 18th and t-shirts are priced as low as $9. I’m pretty sure that’s US$9 even though it is an Australian company. They have eleven shirts to choose from.
T-Shirts on Sale
A few places are having t-shirt sales at the moment so I guess I’ll start with the big one. Design by Humans has been mentioned a few times on this blog and they are selling some of their t-shirts for as little as $12. Sal ends Friday August 1st at midnight. You don’t have much time.
The folks at District Cotton were kind enough let me know that they are having a sale too. All printed tees $5-$9. Can’t complain about that. All of their 100% Organic Cotton T-shirts will be on sale for less than ten bucks. Including $5 for all of their printed infant apparel and toddler tees. Organic Hoodies and recycled Billboard Bags are also on sale. District Cotton also have a t-shirt design contest called Shoot Out which might be of interest to some designers out there.
And finally the good folk over at Lapicerdo.com have provided a coupon for The T-Shirt Review Readers. Add the code SHIRTREVIEW in the message box during checkout to receive a 20% discount. I’ll probably talk about this store again at a later date.
25% Sale at Nerdy Shirts
I just thought I would let all you t-shirt hungry shoppers out there know that Nerdy Shirts are having a 25% off everything sale for the next five days. Hopefully this is a precursor to some great new shirts.
Design by Humans
Design by Humans is a pretty famous t-shirt store but reasonably new I believe. It has a similar business model to Threadless. People submit designs and they are voted on/chosen and the designer gets money. I will provide details in a later post. Today I ordered two shirts which I will review when I get them. You can check them out below or even better, go to the Design by Humans website and pick out a few for yourself.
I also found this coupon [DBHTHS] on the web which gave me 10% discount. I don’t know when it expires though.

$1 T-Shirts from Nerdy Shirts
Unbelievably cheap t-shirts from Nerdy Shirts. They are practically giving them away. One dollar? You can’t go wrong. The fact is that they are doing a bit of spring cleaning and I’m sure they want to make room for their newest designs. This sale is a limited time offer so don’t delay. Below are a few examples of what’s on offer and it seems that the $1 t-shirt selection may change so check back if they don’t have the shirt you want at the moment.
To see the $1 items just go to Nerdy Shirts and click on the sign that says “$1 Sale This Week”. If you can’t see it, may be you are too late.
Threadless T-Shirt Sale Extended
The Threadless t-shirt sale has been extended and to make it even better they are also offering coupons. You can read the details below but it seems there were some server issues and I just went over there to take a look and it seems like it may still be having some issues but be patient and you can get some great t-shirts at a great price. Scroll down to see some more of my favorites from Threadless.
Earlier this week, during your most crucial purchasing moments of our Spring Cleaning sale, we experienced some serious down-time. The frustration that many of you experienced while trying to make purchases is unacceptable and we promise to never ever let this happen again forever ever.
To allow you to make the most of the sale, our friends at Rackspace (the folks that host Threadless) are sponsoring five thousand $5 coupons on orders of $50 or more. The first five thousand people to use the coupon code ’spring08′ during the Spring Cleaning sale will receive $5 off their order on top of the already discounted sale price. Time to go on a shopping spree!!!!
In addition to the $5 coupons and to make up for lost time, we are extending the Spring Cleaning sale until 11:59:59 CST on Wednesday, March 26th, 2008! The new shirts to be released on Monday will also be on sale!
New T-Shirt Store: TorsoPants.com
It looks like the guys from T-Shirt Hell are trying to expand their market a little by including people who are not so easily offended. This new t-shirt store is called TorsoPants.com. On the left here is the face of TorsoPants – the inappropriately named Torso Ted. As you can see he is torso free. My belly button lint has more torso than this dude.
If you sign up as a free member of the Church of TorsoPants right now, they’ll drop $8 TorsoWashingtons in your account. They work just like cash towards anything you purchase on the new site. It’s a great way to get a discount on your first TorsoPants.com tee shirt. The web site is very similar to T-Shirt Hell but has more flash and therefore can take a bit of time to load. It is worth the wait though.
Below you can see a selection of t-shirts available at the store.
Another great thing about becoming a member is that you are automatically in with a chance to win free t-shirts in their ridiculously easy “Buy None Get One Free Contest”.
Just sign up to be a member, which is free, and agree to receive our monthly newsletter and you’ll automatically be entered in the 3x a day drawing. As a member you’ll be eligible for even more free stuff, member’s only benefits, discounts/sales, and other really cool junk. And the newsletter is great because unlike the typical, annoying newsletter, our newsletter is chock full of fun, and excitement. In effect we will be paying you: with laughter.
So, sign up to be a free member below for your chance to win Torsopants 3x a day, each and every day! That’s over 1000 chances to win per year! It’s so easy, that five people have won simply by trying to find a good chili recipe.
