Iron Man Costume T-Shirt
Man, this t-shirt is ugly as shit but it is fun and not so pricy. I think it’d be cool at parties but that’s about it. I would like to try it on though.
Lost/Ghostbusters mashup t-shirt
This is the 2nd week in a row for Threadless to print a Los parody t-shirt and this tee is also a Ghostbusters parody. I told you that we would be seeing more and more Ghostbusters parody tees. I also mentioned in a previous post that the other Lost parody t-shirt on Threadless seemed to be selling like hotcakes and I am sure that this one will do well too.
MacGruber T-Shirt
I don’t usually mention shirts that are on preorder but things change. I’m not a fan of the Saturday Night Live MacGruber sketches but the movie looks like it might be funny. Who knows? I like the line about the upper decker in the trailer.
ET versus Star Wars T-Shirt
I have to wonder how long this particular t-shirt will stay in the store considering it is a mashup of Star Wars and ET, two heavily protected copyrights. Anyway this is the new tee from Glennz.
Ghostbusters Slimed T-Shirt
As I just posted about a Ghostbusters t-shirt I thought that it was quite a coincidence that another blogger was posting about one too. I believe that there will be another Ghostbusters movie coming soon so I expect to see more Ghsotbusters t-shirts come out of the woodwork.
C/O: Cottonable
Steampunk Ghostbusters T-Shirt
OK, so the blue color is decidedly not very steampunk but you have to admit that there is a strong steampunk vibe coming from this Ghostbusters inspired design at Look Zippy.
Look Zippy is a French t-shirt contest site that is published in four languages. This t-shirt is on pre-sale for the next 11 days or so.
Tron inspired tee at Threadless
With the very late sequel to Tron about to be released I am sure we will be seeing more and more Tron inspired t-shirts appearing. This is a pretty sweet one from Threadless that actually glows in the dark and might be pretty sweet in a night club but be sure to get it early because it is not something that you could wear to a club more than once or after someone else has been wearing it there.
Movie Parodies at Threadless
I think that Threadless is well known for having some straight up movie parodies but I don’t recall seeing too many of them lately. I guess they get pressure about possible copyright infringements and are very careful about it. Anyway, todays two tees are based on Breakfast at Tifffany’s and the Lion King if you haven’t already guessed.
Stormtroopers invade Harajuku
I mentioned a while ago that there was a Star Wars t-shirt event in Uniqlo Ginza and Uniqlo’s UT Harajuku stores. I didn’t have a chance to attend but a couple of Japanese bloggers did. Even if you can’t read Japanese you can enjoy the photos.
Check out these two Japanese Star Wars fan sites to see more pictures.
The tees that Uniqlo released are not great but they are officially licensed if that’s your thing. They do have a pretty cool vintage vibe though. Again, the site is in Japanese and you need to scroll down a little to see the 6 Star Wars tees on offer.
Star Wars T-Shirts coming to UT

Star Wars fans: mark your calendars. Uniqlo have announced that they will be releasing a Star Wars line on March 3rd 6th in the Harajuku UT store as well as Uniqlo Ginza. So if you are in Tokyo on that day you might want to check it out. They note that Boba Fett won’t be making an appearance at the stores. I’m not quite sure what that means though.
I have to go to Tokyo on that day and it is fairly close to Harajuku so I might just pop in to see what’s happening. That’s a big might though. Wrong day. Woops.
